With a recent Facebook for iOS update, the app auto-enhances all photos you upload to the social network. The feature tweaks the light, shadow and other aspects of your image to increase its clarity.
Your uploaded images will also have a slider at the bottom, so that you can increase or decrease the effect of the filter. But if you don’t like the feature, then there’s an easy way to disable it.
Follow these steps:
  • Tap the More tab at the bottom right corner in the Facebook app.

  • Scroll down and navigate to Settings > Videos and Photos
Facebook - Enhance Automatically - Settings
Facebook - Enhance Automatically - Settings

  • Tap on the toggle for Enhance Automatically to disable it.

That’s it. The Facebook app should stop automatically enhancing your photos when you upload them.
