Best Jailbreak Tweaks of the Week [December 21 Edition]

Best Jailbreak Tweaks of the Week [December 21 Edition]

The holidays are coming up and what better way to celebrate than treating yourself to some new tweaks? Today we’re going to be looking at 6 tweaks that have been recently added to Cydia. Let’s go ahead and get started!

DisturbMeLater – Free

disturbmelater
DisturbMeLater is a free tweak that will allow you to set a timer to turn off Do Not Disturb. Just activate the control center, tap and hold on the Do Not Disturb toggle and you’ll be presented with a timer that you can set. This can be helpful for when you’re going into the movies and you need DND to be activated for a certain period of time. You’ll never have to remember to turn it back off again.

DockColor – Free

dockcolor
You guessed it. This tweak allows you to change the color of your dock. Just go into the settings, and drag your finger around the color wheel to change the color. Make sure you change the alpha at the bottom because it’s default to be completely transparent and if you don’t change it, the color won’t change. Once you’ve selected a color, just respring your device and you’re good to go!

ReachWeather – Free

reachweather
This tweak will make use of that blank space in Reachability when it’s activated. With ReachWeather, you can select the city that you’re in and when you activate Reachability, it will show you the current weather conditions in your area. Definitely worth checking out for the free price tag.

AnyDrop 3 – $2.49

anydrop3
If you’ve ever wanted to send an unsupported file through AirDrop, then you need to check out AnyDrop 3. This tweak will allow you to send out any file through AirDrop. You can either use the included file browser that comes with AnyDrop 3, or if you want to share a song or a YouTube video you can do that through the application itself. Check out the video to see how this all works!

AppBox 8 – $1.99

appbox8
AppBox 8 has a ton of settings that you can configure and to get a good look at everything it has to offer, check out the video below. But, the gist of this tweak is that it allows you to open applications directly from the lock screen. You select which apps and once you’re on your lock screen, just swipe to the left and all your custom apps will be waiting. You can either tap to open the app or long press to activate it’s AppView. Not all apps will have this, but for instance if you tap and hold on the Messages app, it will give you a new compose sheet to send off. It’s a nice tweak if you’re looking for something like this.

Carpe Diem – $1.49

carpediem
Carpe Diem is another tweak that is taking full advantage of the blank space in Reachability. With this tweak though, you’ll be able to use the notification center widgets. After installing this tweak, just hop into the Carpe Diem settings and tap the widget that you’d like to use. No respring is required, just activate Reachability and you’ll see your widget. Not all widgets worked when I tested this, but you’ll just have to test it to see which will work on your device.
